Thu, 20 August 2009 Here is how to walk to KUC or how to go by bus or by shuttle.... By shuttle from the
Hankyu Rokko Station, the Pick-up point is across from “Ikeda Bank", North side (mountain-side) of Hankyu Rokko Station. Be there AT or BEFORE 9AM on Sundays and the
JR Rokkomichi Station pick-up point is across from "Tsutaya" (video and music store) South side (Ocean Side) of the station. Be there by 8:45AM on Sundays. Check it out on the web. www.KobeUnionChurch.org and you can find good directions there too. The 9 AM service is bilingual English and Japanese. Comments[0] |
Wed, 19 August 2009 KBC Directions or find them on the web.
We went in the morning only to find a Chinese and English Bilingual Service but the English bilingual (J&E) is at 4PM on Sundays. It is three blocks west of the Hankyu Kobe Main station and one block north (up toward the mountains). Comments[0] |

Thu, 25 December 2008 A few years back, this was freely distributed without cost with a bunch of other songs across Japan for Christians to use as an evangelical tool to share about Christ and the gospel during Christmas. If you are near a Japanese Christian book store and you would like to order this song, I think it is called 傷痕 by the group Genuine Grace. Hope you find it and if you do, please post more info below. Wed, 15 October 2008 This is a classic example of Japanese music in English. Recorded live at a Home Church larger group (Kansai) gathering with an iPod nano. The words are .... (you decide) and this group had lots of input from English teachers too (I believe) but gramar mistakes still get into English songs sung by Japanese people. This mistake... singing about one of many Holy Ghosts is a rather minor mistake compared all the gross errors seen on many of the street signs/public signs and menues everywhere you go. It is funny so I thought I would post this for a short durration to give you a heads up of what to expect when you come. As you can tell from the song, many home churches as well as other churches in the area tend to be seeker sensative. No more comments for God is good and to Him be the glory regardless of mistakes or whatever else.... just enjoy. Comments[0] |
