Wed, 10 October 2007 This is a first time teacher but he has the good characteristics of showing enthusiasm and energy in the classroom. This word is -genki- in Japanese and many institutions both Christian and secular are looking for this kind of -genki- quality in new teachers. It has been said that this great quality of -genkiness- can deplete after 5 years of teaching English abroad... but that is just what some say.
